Automation of manufacturing and assembly
The automation of manufacturing and assembly processes – especially in the case of repetitive, monotonous steps – has been one of the most important areas of industrial automation from the very beginning. Over the past 15 years, our company has implemented numerous projects in this field, ranging from small, workbench-sized devices to complex automated systems that replace entire production lines.
Manufacturing and assembly machines usually integrate several interdependent work phases:
- automatic feeding of parts,
- transfer to the work area,
- execution of assembly steps,
- transfer of workpieces between workstations,
- inspection and quality assurance processes,
- handling and sorting of rejects,
- organized release of finished products.
Ensuring the flow of materials between the individual workstations is key to efficient operation. We always tailor the chosen solution to the specific task, taking into account:
- the type of workpieces,
- the necessary operations,
- the planned machine layout (topology),
- and the expected cycle time.
Our most commonly used material handling technologies include:
- round table systems,
- moving tray track systems,
- conveyor belt solutions,
- manipulator pick-and-place systems.
Our goal in every case is to implement a system that is reliable, accurate, and economical to operate in the long term.
